Illinois Wesleyan University senior Myles Lahart has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's (CCIW) Golfer of the Week. This is the first time Lahart has received this weekly honor.
Lahart secured second place at the Carthage Firebird Fall Classic, which took place on September 8-9 at Ives Grove Golf Links and Strawberry Creek Golf Club. He opened with a career-best round of four-under 68, followed by a one-under 71 in the final round, finishing with a total score of 139 over 36 holes. His performance was not only his personal best for a two-round event but also marked the highest finish among Illinois Wesleyan team members and all CCIW competitors at the tournament.
The Illinois Wesleyan men's golf team will next compete in the NCAA Division III Preview at Mission Inn Resort + Spa in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, from September 21-23.
