The Illinois Wesleyan University women's volleyball team has achieved its highest-ever ranking, coming in at No. 7 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll. The Titans received one first-place vote, marking a new milestone for the program as they continue an undefeated season with an 11-0 record.

La Verne leads the AVCA poll, collecting 74 first-place votes. East Texas Baptist holds the second spot with four first-place votes, followed by UW-Oshkosh, UW-Whitewater, and WashU. Johns Hopkins is ranked sixth, just ahead of Illinois Wesleyan.

Within the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, Illinois Wesleyan is one of two teams to make the rankings. Carthage also appears in the poll, tied for 25th after previously being at the top of the "receiving votes" category.

Looking ahead, Illinois Wesleyan will play two matches against other nationally ranked teams at Hope College on Saturday, September 27. The Titans are scheduled to face No. 14 Marietta at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time and then play against No. 18 Hope at 1:30 p.m.
