The Illinois State football team, currently ranked No. 5, is taking a break this week after a double-overtime victory against North Alabama at Hancock Stadium. Head coach Brock Spack will discuss the recent win and upcoming preparations during The Brock Spack Show, held Thursday at 6 p.m. at Schooners in Bloomington.

Coach Spack will join Redbird football play-by-play announcer John Fitzgerald and color analyst Ted Schmitz to review the team's performance and outline plans for next week's game against top-ranked North Dakota State. Senior defensive lineman Nick Kessler and defensive line coach Ben Black are scheduled as special guests.

Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, near the intersection of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. Fans unable to attend can listen to the show on WJBC 1230 AM or stream it live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Selected segments will also be available on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.

Illinois State supporters can find tickets, information about the Weisbecker Athletic Fund, multimedia content, merchandise, and photos through GoRedbirds.com and the Illinois State Redbirds App.

"Coach Spack will chat with Redbird football play-by-play voice John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about his team's performance in last weekend's game for the ages against North Alabama and he will detail his team's bye week preparations for next week's game against No. 1 ranked North Dakota State.
