The Illinois Wesleyan University men's tennis team is set to participate in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Tournament in Kalamazoo, Michigan, from September 26 to 29. Three players will represent the university at this event.

Senior Ian Turnbull will be making his fourth appearance at the tournament. Last year, Turnbull and then-junior Ben Vigneri lost to Anderson University's Martin Suarez and Pedro Alves Sette with a score of 8-6. In the consolation bracket, they came back to defeat Webster University's Eli Bartek and Carson Fisher, 8-4. After receiving a bye in the round of 32, they were eliminated by Cole Shifferly and Tharakesh Ashokar of Wabash College, 8-4.

In singles competition during the previous tournament, Turnbull was defeated by Arturo Mendoza from Anderson University, 6-2, 4-6, 13-11. His run ended in the consolation round of 32 against Matthew Kordesh of Millikin University with a score of 8-6.

In the 2023 ITA Regional Tournament, Turnbull won his opening match against Peyton Specht from Ohio Northern University but was defeated in the next round by Kael Shah of Denison University.

Junior Thad Dillow will make his first appearance in the ITA singles draw as he looks for his first win of the season. Senior Griffin Hammond is also making his ITA debut. Earlier this season, Hammond and Turnbull lost in the first round of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament before Hammond medically retired from that event.

Results from the tournament will be available on iwusports.com after matches conclude.
