Illinois State prepares for key football matchup with North Dakota State

The Illinois State football team, currently ranked No. 6, is preparing for a major game against the top-ranked and defending national champion North Dakota State. The matchup will take place Saturday night at Hancock Stadium.

Head coach Brock Spack will discuss the upcoming game during The Brock Spack Show, which will be held Thursday at 6 p.m. at Schooners in Bloomington. The event is presented by Redbird Ale from DESTIHL.

Coach Spack will join Redbird football play-by-play announcer John Fitzgerald and color analyst Ted Schmitz to talk about how the team used its bye week to prepare for North Dakota State. Senior offensive lineman Jake Pope and offensive line coach Harold Etheridge will also appear as special guests.

Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, near the intersection of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. Those unable to attend can listen to the show on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities or stream it live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Some parts of the show will also be broadcast live on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
