The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team is set to conclude its two-game road stretch with a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) match at Wheaton College on Wednesday, October 8. The game will be played at Joe Bean Stadium in Wheaton, Illinois, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.

Illinois Wesleyan enters the match with an overall record of 5-5-1 and a conference record of 0-1-0. The Titans are seeking to recover from a 7-2 defeat against Carthage in their CCIW opener on Saturday, October 4. Despite the loss, the team currently holds the second-highest scoring average in the conference, averaging 2.27 goals per game over 11 matches.

Sophomore Liza Wiley has contributed significantly this season, ranking second in the league with five assists and fourth with 13 points. Another sophomore from Bloomington, Keira Robinson, has scored five goals so far this season, placing her second among conference players.

Wheaton College holds a record of 4-4-3 overall and is 1-1-0 in CCIW play. The Thunder are also looking to rebound after a recent 5-1 loss at North Park on Saturday, October 4. Their first conference victory came against Elmhurst on September 27 with a score of 1-0.

Historically, Wheaton has dominated the series between the two programs, leading with a record of 32 wins, six losses, and five draws. However, last season Illinois Wesleyan recorded its sixth all-time win over Wheaton by securing a 3-0 victory at Neis Field. In that match, senior Bree Cordray opened scoring in the sixth minute, while Wiley added two more goals—one assisted by Robinson.

Live streaming and statistics for Wednesday's match will be available online.
