The Illinois Wesleyan University women's soccer team will host Augustana College in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) match on Wednesday, October 15. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Neis Field.

Senior Kayley Carew and sophomore Liza Wiley are tied for second in the conference in assists, each recording five so far this season. The Titans have one of the top offenses in the CCIW, averaging over two goals per game.

Illinois Wesleyan holds a record of 5-6-2 overall and 0-2-1 in conference play. The team is still looking for its first league win after losing 4-2 to North Park on Saturday, October 11. In that match, junior Ava Mapes and sophomore Ellen Dahlquist scored for Illinois Wesleyan, while Carew contributed two assists.

Augustana enters the contest with a 3-8-2 overall record and is also seeking its first conference victory after falling to Wheaton 4-1 last Saturday. Although Augustana led much of that match, Wheaton scored four times within an 18-minute span during the second half.

Illinois Wesleyan leads the all-time series against Augustana with a record of 19 wins, 10 losses, and nine draws. Last season’s meeting between the teams ended in a 1-1 draw; sophomore Keira Robinson scored for Illinois Wesleyan.

The match will be played at Neis Field at 7 p.m., with live streaming and statistics available online.
