Adrian Dibildox and Christian Capacci from Illinois State University advanced to the main singles draw at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships after winning two matches each in the qualifying rounds on Thursday. The event is being held at XS Tennis Village in Chicago.

Four Illinois State players secured first-round victories in the singles qualifying draw: Dibildox, Capacci, Tin Ostro, and Caden Scarlett. Ostro and Scarlett were eliminated in the second round, while Dibildox and Capacci continued their progress to reach the main draw, which begins Friday.

Dibildox earned his place in the main draw by defeating Evan Glebov of Marquette 7-6 (3), 6-2 in the second round. Capacci secured his advancement by overcoming Nolan Balthazor of Notre Dame 7-6 (3), 6-4. The main draw action will start with two rounds of doubles matches on Friday morning at 9 a.m., followed by a round of singles matches in the afternoon. Tomas Valencia from Illinois State will also compete in the main draw after receiving a bye on Thursday and will aim to reach the round of 16 on Saturday.
