McLean County Board for the Care and Treatment of Persons with a Developmental Disability met Oct. 9.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m.

1. Roll Call

Present: Becky Hines, Phylis VerSteegh, Reena Rhoda, David Marvin, Robert Freitag

Absent: None

McLean County Health Department Staff Present: Amy Hopper, Behavioral Health Program Manager, Tammy Brooks, Assistant Administrator

2. Appearance by Members of the Public

Invited Calendar Year 2026 (CY26) grant applicants provided presentations on their funding proposals.

3. Discussion Items

A. Grant Presentations for CY26 Funding – applicants presented program activities, key outcomes, and budget priorities, with opportunity for Board discussion on the following:

1. Lifelong Access: Pediatric Therapy Early Intervention (EI)

2. Easterseals: Early Intervention (EI) Services – Bloomington

3. Lifelong Access: Pediatric Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy

Recess: 9:05 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.

4. Easterseals: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) – Bloomington

5. The Baby Fold: Community Schools

6. Lifelong Access: High School Transition Program

Recess: 10:20 a.m. – 10:25 a.m.

7. Best Buddies: Inclusive Employment Project

8. Carle (IWP Bloomington, LLC): Partnership in Health

9. Homes of Hope: Supported Living

Following each presentation, Board members engaged in discussion regarding program activities, key outcomes, and budget priorities for CY26 funding

4. Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 11:18 a.m.
