Tri Valley Community Unit School District 3 students suspended 4 times in a single school year

Tri Valley Community Unit School District 3 reported four suspensions for 2016-17, according to the latest student discipline report by the Illinois State Board of Education.

According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 4 students during the year. That equates to 0.4 percent of the 1,077 students enrolled.

The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes four incidents. For two incidents, students were suspended for 5-10 days.
