Report: Olympia spent $10,757 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Olympia Community Unit School District 16 is up 0.3 percent from five years ago, according to a McLean County Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Mclean County school district spent $10,725 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,757 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1879 to 1847.

Olympia's spending in 2017-18 was 19.3 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
