Report: Dwight spent $16,474 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Dwight Township High School District 230 is up 18.3 percent from five years ago, according to a McLean County Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Livingston County school district spent $13,927 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $16,474 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 283 to 253.

Dwight's spending in 2017-18 was 23.5 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
