Q2 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Livingston County?

There were 16 offenders released on parole during the second quarter that live in Livingston County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by McLean County Times.

The data shows that 13 men and three women were released in Livingston County. The median age of the parolees was 37. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 54-year-old man sentenced for a financial crime or fraud in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Christopher D. Keever. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2008 when he was 23 years old. He is now 34.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter in each Livingston County municipality.
