CITY OF CHENOA: Public Informational Meeting

City of Chenoa issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.

McLean County Highway Department will hold a Public Informational Meeting regarding the proposed improvements of Division Street from Boles Avenue to US 24 (W. Cemetery Ave.). The informational meeting will be held at Prairie Central Primary West, 700 Division Street, Chenoa, on Thursday October 24, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Please enter through the Front entrance on Division Street. All persons interested in this project are invited to attend this meeting. Persons with a disability planning to attend this meeting should contact one of the individuals listed below by October 17, 2019 if special accommodations are required. The meeting room is accessible to persons with a disability.

The proposed improvement consists of reconstructing Division Street from Fuller Street to US 24 with new HMA pavement, curb and gutter, and sidewalks. From Boles Avenue to Fuller Street, the project consists of pavement mill and overlay and drainage improvements.

The meeting will be conducted on an informal open house basis. Representatives of McLean County and Hanson Professional Services, the county’s engineering consultant, will be available to discuss the project. Representatives will answer individual questions and record comments offered by those in attendance. Verbatim comments will not be recorded. Preliminary plans will be available for viewing the entire time.
