Here is the minutes provided by the committee:

Mayor Slagel called the meeting to order at 6:04PM.

Mayor Slagel gave a brief synopsis of the ordinance involving vicious dogs & asked for comment.

Chief McCormick said that one of the dogs may have been rehomed to another individual in Fairbury and wasn’t certain on the status of the other dog at this point. He recommended continuing with these proceedings regardless.

The meeting was temporarily suspended while awaiting other Alderman to join that were having trouble getting connected to the conference call.

At 6:19 Aldermen Dameron & Weber were able to join the meeting. A brief summary of the ordinance was given again by Mayor Slagel.

Alderman Hoffman made the motion to declare the dogs as Vicious under the ordinance, Alderman Hoselton seconded. Roll call was called and the 4 Alderman and Mayor all voted “Yes”.

Alderman Weber made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Alderman Dameron. Meeting adjourned at 6:23PM.
