Q3 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in McLean County?

There were 47 offenders released on parole during the third quarter of 2019 that live in McLean County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by McLean County Times.

The data shows that 41 men and six women were released in McLean County. Of the parolees, one is a veteran, and the median age is 36. The youngest parolee was a 22-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 83-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2013.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Kevin McMillan. He was convicted of homicide in 1996 when he was 25 years old. He is now 50.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
