Leroy Fire Protection Department responded to 20 calls in 2018 - 58.3 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Leroy included 11 fires - four structure fires, three vehicle fires and four other fires.

In all, the department saw $102,700 in fire loss - or about $9,336 per fire.

The department also received nine false calls.

The Leroy Fire Protection Department had an annual budget of $689,574 in 2018.
