O'Dell Fire Protection District responded to 31 calls in 2018 - 14.8 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Odell included 28 fires - 17 structure fires, four vehicle fires and seven other fires.

In all, the department saw $81,000 in fire loss - or about $2,893 per fire.

The department also received three false calls.

The O'Dell Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $134,013 in 2018.
