Cullom Fire Protection District responded to 31 calls in 2018 - 29.2 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Cullom included 24 fires - 10 structure fires, three vehicle fires and 11 other fires.

The department also received seven false calls.

The calls resulted in one civilian non-fire death.

The Cullom Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $103,854 in 2018.
