University High School issued the following announcement on Sept. 27
U-High Homecoming 2021
Dates: October 4 – October 9, 2021
Theme: Traveling The Universe
Schedule:
Monday, October 4th: Pajama Day (all day in school)
Tuesday, October 5th: Character Day/TV Tuesday (all day in school)
Wednesday, October 6th: Country vs. Country Club (all day in school)
Powder Puff at Hancock Stadium from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Admission is $2.
Thursday, October 7th: Holiday Day (all day in school)
Male Volleyball directly following the Varsity Volleyball Game in the U-High gym.
Friday, October 8th: Green and Gold Day (all day in school)
Pep Rally from 2:30 – 3:00 pm at Hancock Stadium
Football Game at 7:00 pm at Hancock Stadium
Saturday, October 9th: Homecoming Dance from 8:00 – 10:00 pm in the Brown Ballroom of Bone Student Center
Homecoming Court:
- All University High School students will nominate Homecoming Court members on a paper ballot on September 30th in their third period classes. Students that do not have a third period class should report to the main office to vote.
- The twelve seniors that receive the most votes will be designated Homecoming Court members.
- All University High School students will vote for Homecoming Royalty online October 5th in their third period classes. Students that do not have a third period class can vote online that any time between 9 am and 12 pm that day.
- The two court members with the most votes will be designated Homecoming Royalty at the football game on Friday, October 8th.
- Tickets are available for sale Monday, October 4th through Friday, October 8th in the lounge throughout the day. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased with cash or a check made out to University High School.
- All non-U-High students must be accompanied by a U-High student with a guest request form properly on file. The guest request form will be live on our website (Parents à Form à Guest Request Form) beginning Monday, September 20th. The guest request form must be turned in to the main office by Wednesday, October 6th.
- Masks will be required during the dance. All students must wear their masks covering their noses and mouths or they will be required to leave the dance.
- School ID is required for anyone to enter the dance.
- Lemonade and water will be provided at the dance.
