Bloomington Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts & T-Mobile set to Host Halloween Events

City of Bloomington issued the following announcement on Oct. 26

Get your Halloween spirit in gear with the Bloomington Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Art’s FREE Classic Cars & Candy Bars Drive Thru! – Sponsored by T-Mobile event held October 29th from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Miller Park located at 1020 S. Morris Avenue in Bloomington, Illinois.

“Costumes are encouraged for this fun, Halloween event,” said Neal McKenry program manager with the Bloomington Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts Department, adding “We’ll be accepting canned goods for local food banks, so bring what you can to help out.”

“We’ve connected with area car clubs to showcase some unique and classic cars for this Halloween themed event,” said Mose Rickey Interim Assistant Director of Bloomington Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts, adding “Bring the kids and don’t forget to get a Halloween Goodie Bag as you exit.”

Everyone will be following the State of Illinois COVID-19 safety. This event is weather dependent in order to protect the cars. Make sure to check the event page or our social media for updates in regard to the events occurrence.

FREAKY FRIDAY FRIGHT NIGHT OPEN SKATE

The spirit of Halloween continues at the Bloomington Ice Center as the Ice Center gets a spooky makeover for the Freaky Friday Night Open Skate – Sponsored by T-Mobile, happening Friday, October 29th from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Guests will receive a free “glow” necklace with each paid admission so you can glow while skating in the dark. Don’t forget to wear your costume! Door prizes, candy, music, and lots of spooky fun will be had by all. Admission to the skate is $6.00.

The Bloomington Ice Center is located at 201 S. Roosevelt in Bloomington, Illinois.
