The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) has revealed that 18 additional professions are now eligible for licensure through its new online licensing platform, the Comprehensive Online Regulatory Environment (CORE).

This development signifies the successful completion of CORE's Phase 2.2, with the entirety of Phase 2 expected to conclude in the upcoming weeks. The department plans to announce each phase's completion and specify which professions are incorporated into CORE.

The full implementation of CORE is anticipated by August 2026. Throughout this process, IDFPR will provide public updates on major advancements as well as enhancements to existing licensing procedures.
