Sankofa Celebration

Description: Join ODI as we welcome back students, staff and faculty for our first annual Sankofa Celebration. Sankofa is a West African word meaning "go back and get it". The spirit of Sankofa emphasizes the importance of knowing one's history and using that knowledge in the present to make positive changes. We'll be joined by IWU alums Deon Hornsby '97 and Paige Buschman '17 as our special guests, enjoy the sounds of IWU's Silence Interrupted, and learn from special presentations by IWU staff. Appetizers will be served! Sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
