Report: Dwight School District spent $20,652 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Dwight Township High School District 230 was up 48.9 percent from five years ago, according to the McLean County Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Livingston County school district spent $13,871 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $20,652 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 287 to 229 students over the same period.

Dwight's spending in 2019-20 was 42.5 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
