Report: Rooks Creek School District spent $18,269 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Rooks Creek Community Consolidated School District 425 was up 19.2 percent from five years ago, according to the McLean County Times analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Livingston County school district spent $15,326 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $18,269 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment remained unchanged over the same period, with 52 students.

Rooks Creek's spending in 2019-20 was 26.1 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
