The third quarter of 2019: Dwight experienced a 6.8% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Dwight fell by $8,500 while total sales decreased by 4.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $116,500 - a 6.8% decrease over the $125,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 24 homes sold in Dwight in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Dwight for 2019 was $3,022. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,811. This marks an increase of 7.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
