City of Le Roy Special Voting Council met Aug. 23.

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Steve Dean at 6:05 PM at Le Roy City Hall, 207 S East Street, Le Roy. Council members present were Matt Steffen, Justin Morfey, Patti Welander, Dawn Hanafin, and Kelly Lay.
Staff members present were Dave Jenkins and Anita Corso.
ORD NO. 22-08-03-30 An ordinance of the City of Le Roy, McLean County, Illinois, authorizing the establishment of tax increment financing ‘Interested Parties’ registries and adopting registration rules for such registries. Motion to approve by Justin was seconded by Matt. Roll call: Matt Steffen-yes, Justin Morfey-yes, Patti Welander-yes, Dawn Hanafin-yes, and Kelly Lay-yes. Motion carried 5 yeas, 0 nays.
RESOLUTION No. 22-08-04-30 A resolution approving a contract for professional services between the City of Le Roy, Illinois and PGAV Planners, LLC. Motion to approve by Patty and seconded by Kelly. Discussion included the fees involved and a reminder that accumulation of funds will take time. Roll call: Matt Steffen-yes, Justin Morfey-yes, Patti Welander-yes, Dawn Hanafin-yes, and Kelly Lay yes. Motion carried 5 yeas, 0 nays.
Motion was made by Kelly and seconded by Justin to adjourn the regular council meeting. Roll call: Matt Steffen-yes, Justin Morfey-yes, Patti Welander-yes, Dawn Hanafin-yes, and Kelly Lay-yes. Motion carried 5 yeas, 0 nays.
