City of Chenoa City Council met Aug. 2.

The Chenoa City Council met in special session at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall. Mayor Wilder, Commissioners Buchanan, Price, Moreland, Daiker, and City Clerk Rhoades were in attendance.
#5424 Commissioners Daiker and Buchanan moved and seconded the Motion to approve to Executive Session to Discuss the Appointment, Employment, Compensation, Discipline, Performance or Dismissal of Specific Employees of the City of Chenoa - Section 2(c)(1). The roll call vote was affirmative.
#5425 Commissioners Buchanan and Daiker moved and seconded the Motion to Return to Open Session. The roll call vote was affirmative.
#5426 Commissioners Buchanan and Price moved and seconded the Motion to Approve to hire Josh Bell as Water Plant Operator/Employee at a rate of $31.00 per hour. The roll call vote was affirmative.
#5427 Commissioners Price and Buchanan moved and seconded the Motion that the council do now adjourn. The roll call vote was affirmative.

Hire New Water Operator
Commissioner Moreland said after speaking with applicants he feels Josh Bell is the best one all the way around. He wants $31.00 an hour and would like it in writing so he knows moving on from there.
