The Illinois Wesleyan University men's and women's swimming and diving teams look ahead to the nine-team Carthage Classic Friday-Saturday, Dec. 2-3, hosted by Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis. The Titans and host, Carthage are joined by Lake Forest, St. Norbert, UW-Oshkosh, Alma, Olivet College, Carroll, and Augsburg.
Three sessions will take place over the two-day invite with a Friday start time of 5 p.m. Saturday will be split into two sessions starting at 9 a.m. and an evening session to kickoff at 5:10 p.m. Unlike previous Carthage Classics, this is not a prelim-final meet, there will be timed finals for every event.
Last season, the Green and White took home a third-place finish on the women's side, while the men touched in a sixth-place finish. The Cardinals earned first for the women and second on the men, as Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology placed first for the men.
