Christmas Lighting Contest

The Mayor’s Fund and Mayor Steve Dean are sponsoring the holiday lighting contest this year.
The contest is open to all residents living within the city limits, and judging for the contest will take place on December 18 and 19. Winners (first, second, and third place) will be announced by the mayor on Christmas Day. Cash prizes will be awarded, and will be delivered to winners the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
A panel of judges will visit each entrant’s home on one of the two judging nights.
Lights should be on until at least 10:00 pm on both December 18 and 19.
There will not be a Facebook contest this year.
Those residents wishing to register either their home or someone else’s residence should submit the registration form and drop it off at the drive though window or night deposit box at LeRoy City Hall.
