Corrections Officer Sergio Paredes-Bautista has completed his one-year probationary period on October 11, 2022.

Corrections Officer Iymoni Pleasant has completed her one-year probationary period on November 22nd

The Sheriff is requesting a Disciplinary Hearing to be scheduled for a Corrections Officer. It will be on December 21st at 10 am in the ESDA ROOM in the Law & Justice Center.

Old Business

Interviewed 1 Correction applicant and 4 Deputies. They all were approved.

Voted to approve updated language for Corrections and Law Enforcement Laterals for Sections 2 and 3 to allow the Commissioners to waive the years 2 for Corrections and 3 for Law Enforcement experience requirement

Sheriff’s Department would like to interview applicants age 18 for Corrections. We Voted and agreed the Commissioners will approve at our December 13th meeting.

States Attorney Chris Spanos is updating the Merit Bylaws to reflect these changes. The Commissioners will vote at our December 13th meeting to update our bylaws for 18 year old Corrections applicants.

Budget Report & Accumulated Transaction Listing as of November 1, 2022, Submit & Approve Bills and/or other expenses incurred.

New Business

Vote to approve bylaws to Article IV Section 1

Under Eligibility Requirements for applicants age 18 to be eligible to be Corrections Officers.
