Bowling to Open the New Year on the Road at Peacock Classic | https://images.sidearmdev.com/
The Illinois Wesleyan University women's bowling team returns to action this weekend Friday-Sunday, Jan. 20-22, at the Peacock Classic hosted by Upper Iowa University. The Titans are joined by eight other teams including host Upper Iowa, Elmhurst University, Newman University, Quincy University, Carroll University, Augustana College, Lewis University, and Valparaiso University.
The Titans saw a new addition to the squad in sophomore Cloud Benn (New Orleans, La.-Edna Karr). Benn is a English Literature and Secondary Education major from New Orleans, La. This weekend marks Benn's first competition with the Green and White.
IWU also returns to action for the first time in the new year this weekend. Most recently, the Titans competed in the Warhawk Open hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Dec.3-4. There, the Titans placed 22nd with a final total pinfall of 6292.
