Rooks Creek Community Consolidated School District 425 Board of Education met Aug. 14.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The Board of Education held a regular school board meeting at the school, on Monday August 14, 2023. School Board President Kristen Hinz called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call: Elizabeth Alvey, present; Angela Baldwin, absent; Scott Drilling, absent; John Grampp, present; Kristen Hinz, present; Abby Rinker, present.

Superintendent, Todd Bean and Brianna Grieff were also present.

A motion was made by Elizabeth Alvey, seconded by Kristen Hinz to approve the amended agenda, by adding July 10 minutes. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Elizabeth Alvey to approve the July minutes, Voice vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Abby Rinker, seconded by Kristen Hinz to approve the July Treasurer’s Report. Roll call vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Abby Rinker, to approve the August payment of bills. Roll call vote. All ayes. 2 absent. Motion carried.

Scott Drilling arrived at 7:15 p.m.

Angela Baldwin arrived at 7:18 p.m.

A motion was made by Kristen Hinz, seconded by Elizabeth Alvey to set September 11, 2023 at 6:55 p.m. for the Budget Hearing. Voice Vote. All ayes. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Angela Baldwin to accept Mark Legner’s resignation.. Voice vote. All ayes. Motion carried.

A motion was made by John Grampp, seconded by Elizabeth Alvey to approve the emergency Crisis Plan as presented. Voice vote. All ayes. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Kristen Hinz, seconded by Abby Rinker to adjourn at 7:40 p.m. Voice vote. All ayes. Motion carried.
