Decatur, IL – Today, Regan Deering officially filed her nominating petitions to run for State Representative of the 88th District with the maximum allowed 1,500 signatures. Deering’s filing shows support from across the district and the strength of her movement to take the fight to Springfield.
“I’m grateful and motivated by the tremendous support we’ve received from volunteers, activists, local leaders, and thousands of Republicans who are tired of business as usual,” stated Republican Regan Deering. “We are building a movement to take on the failed status quo – both the extremist democrats and complacent Republicans."
Regan Deering will appear on the ballot as a clear, unapologetic conservative alternative to the failed policies of the status quo. Deering’s bold conservative leadership has earned her support from voters in every corner of the district and made her the clear frontrunner in the race.
“As a mother of three, my fight is personal – I’m afraid for my kids' future in Illinois. We've seen enough of the failed liberal policies and spineless compromises,” added Deering. “I’ve been clear about my plans to bring the conservative revolution to Springfield, and today marks another step forward in our mission.”
