On Friday, February 23, former Homewood-Flossmoor High School standouts Gallien Coupet and Waylon Deck’s current college team, the Heartland Hawks, lost 8-3 in their NJCAA game against the Southwest Mississippi Bears.

The game took place in Summit, Mississippi. This was their second matchup against the Southwest Mississippi Bears this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, February 24 at 3 p.m. in Poplarville, Mississippi against Pearl River Wildcats.
