"Yesterday's heinous stabbing attacks in Rockford, Illinois, have left a community in mourning. Our hearts go out to the loved ones of those killed and to all those impacted by this senseless violence," a statement read. The plea continued, "Please keep the victims, witnesses, first responders, and the entire Rockford community in your prayers."
