Illinois residents are feeling the negative impacts of the SAFE-T Act, as highlighted by Rep. Tipsword in a recent discussion with the Center Square. The legislation, which includes cashless bail provisions, has left families in the state feeling anything but safe. In response to this, Rep. Tipsword and other House Republicans are pushing for new legislation to address the issues caused by the implementation of the SAFE-T Act.
