The 2024 season for Illinois State football begins on Saturday in Iowa, as the No. 19 ranked team heads to Kinnick Stadium to face the No. 25 ranked Iowa. ISU head coach Brock Spack will discuss the upcoming game against the Hawkeyes on Thursday at the first The Brock Spack Show of the season, live from Schooners in Bloomington at 6 p.m.
Coach Spack will converse with Redbird football play-by-play announcer John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about his team's offseason preparations for the opener against Iowa. This week’s show will feature quarterback Tommy Rittenhouse and Defensive Assistant Head Coach and Outside Linebackers mentor Kye Stewart as special guests.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, near the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those unable to attend in person, the show will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Portions of the show will also be broadcast live on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
