Legislative Leadership Program
Rep. Tipsword recently attended the Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Fellows Program in Madison, Wisconsin. He met with legislative colleagues from 11 Midwestern states to discuss strategies in governance.
"Around the District"
Earlier this week, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for The Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County’s new Intergenerational Center in Fairbury. This facility aims to connect generations and provide a safe space for youth and seniors.
District law enforcement leaders gathered to discuss issues such as the Safe-T Act, pensions, human trafficking, staffing, and more. Sen. Tom Bennett hosted the event.
Licensing Update
As a member of the Healthcare Licensing Committee, Rep. Tipsword noted progress in streamlining the licensing process with the State.
