Coming off a trip to Iowa last weekend for the 2024 season opener, the No. 21 ranked Illinois State football team continues its road swing this weekend with a trip to North Alabama. ISU head coach Brock Spack will preview the upcoming matchup with the Lions on Thursday at The Brock Spack Show, live from Schooners in Bloomington beginning at 6 p.m.
Coach Spack will chat with Redbird football play-by-play voice John Fitzgerald and longtime color analyst Ted Schmitz about his team's performance against the No. 25 Hawkeyes and preview this week's contest in Florence, Alabama, against the North Alabama Lions. This week, they will be joined by senior captain Keondre Jackson and offensive line coach Harold Etheridge as special guests.
Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington and sits just off the corner of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Portions of the show will also be broadcast live on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.
