Illinois State University's football team secured a significant victory against Western Illinois, scoring 51 points in their home opener at Hancock Stadium. This triumph sets the stage for another in-state matchup this weekend against Eastern Illinois. Head coach Brock Spack will discuss the upcoming game on The Brock Spack Show, airing live from Schooners in Bloomington on Thursday at 6 p.m.

Coach Spack will be joined by Redbird football play-by-play announcer John Fitzgerald and veteran color analyst Ted Schmitz to review the team's performance against Western Illinois and preview the 112th Mid-America Classic against Eastern Illinois, scheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m. Special guests for this week's show include defensive lineman Jake Anderson and running backs coach Sam Ojuri.

Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, near the intersection of Grove Street and Clinton Boulevard. For those unable to attend in person, the show will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM in the Twin Cities and streamed live on GoRedbirds.com and The Varsity Network. Portions of the show will also be available on the Illinois State Athletics Facebook page.

GoRedbirds.com and the Illinois State Redbirds App offer resources for purchasing tickets, making Weisbecker Athletic Fund gifts, accessing multimedia content, buying Redbird merchandise, viewing photos, and more.
