Illinois Wesleyan University's women's golf team continued to excel at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championship. On Friday, October 4, the team extended its lead with a score of 290 at Metamora Fields Golf Club. The Titans are currently ranked 10th nationally and have built a 53-stroke lead as they head into the final round.

The team's performance was highlighted by seniors Macy Ludwig, Jadyn Spinks, and freshman Gigi Zera. Ludwig leads by two strokes after scoring one-over 72, bringing her total to 143 through 36 holes. Spinks recorded the best round of the tournament with a two-under 69, placing her second at 145. Zera scored three-over 74 and is in third place at 149.

Senior Jacque O'Neill improved significantly from her opening round with a score of 75, tying for seventh place. Sophomore Nora Cerroni is in tenth place with a total of 158, while senior Kylie Hundman is tied for eleventh at 159.

Illinois Wesleyan leads with a combined score of 588 over two days. Elmhurst follows in second place with a score of 641, and North Central holds third position at 642.

The final round is set for Saturday, October 5, beginning at 8 a.m., with Hundman scheduled to tee off at 9:48 a.m.
