LIHEAP offers energy bill assistance to eligible households

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is now available for households that meet income qualifications. This program provides assistance with energy bills, including natural gas, propane, electricity, and furnace services. Applications are currently open and will remain so until August 15, 2025, or until the allocated funds are depleted.

To apply for assistance through LIHEAP, individuals can visit helpillinoisfamilies.com.
