The Illinois State women's golf team has secured the title at the Loyola Parkinson Family Invitational, marking their second tournament win this fall. The Redbirds won by a margin of 13 strokes with a score of 878, which is the seventh-lowest in the program's history. This victory adds to head coach Breanne Hall's record, making it her sixth career win in seven seasons.

Butler finished in second place with a score of 891, followed by Cal Baptist at 895 and Bowling Green at 902. Other participants included Dayton, St. Thomas, South Dakota, Ball State, Omaha, UIC, Utah Tech, Loyola Chicago, and Creighton.

Illinois State's freshmen played significant roles in their success. Elise Fennell achieved a career-low-tying score of 71 on the final round and tied for third place individually with a total score of 217. Alex Sparrow also impressed with a one-under-par final round of 71.

Morgan Jones completed her rounds with a two-over-par final score of 74 and tied for fifth place individually. Freshman Jessica Jolly scored her best round of the tournament with a four-over-par final-round score of 76.

Jinyoung Yun finished tied for fifth overall after shooting a final-round score of 77. Lory Paradis concluded her rounds tying for eleventh place as an individual competitor.

The Redbirds will take a break before concluding their fall season at the Clash at Boulder Creek starting October 20 in Boulder City, Nevada.
