The Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team took a commanding lead at the Wabash Fall Invitational in Indianapolis. The Titans, ranked fifth, started strong with an opening round of six-under 282 and followed it up with a one-under 287, ending the day with a total score of 569 at the Broadmoor Country Club. Their 'B' team is currently in second place with a score of 588.

Among the top performers for Illinois Wesleyan was junior Aidan Healy from New Lenox, Illinois. Healy leads the field with a score of 139 after two rounds under par, beginning with a two-under 70 and then scoring three-under in the second round.

Senior Griffin Pohl from Western Springs, Illinois recorded the tournament's best round so far with an opening six-under 66. He is one shot behind Healy, standing second at 140. Freshman Pablo Castro from Palatine, Illinois shares third place after shooting rounds of 73 and 70.

Seniors Michael Spitzer from Hinsdale, Illinois and Raj Sethi from Chandler, Arizona are tied for sixth position at 146 each. Junior Juney Bai from Mokena, Illinois holds eleventh place with a total of 147 over two rounds. Freshman Michael O'Keefe and senior Quinn Clifford both from Chicago are positioned fifteenth and tied for sixteenth respectively.

The Titans are leading among fifteen teams at seven-under 569 while Hope College follows in third place scoring 595. Rhodes College and DePauw University complete the top five standings.

Final round play is scheduled for October 8th with live scoring available through Clippd.
