The Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team has been ranked sixth in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America on October 6. The team accumulated a total of 183 points.
Emory University leads the poll with 244 points and nine first-place votes, advancing from its previous third position. Methodist University remains second with 224 points, while Claremont-Mudd-Scripps holds third place with 216 points. Oglethorpe University climbed to fourth place with 209 points, and Carnegie Mellon University, previously top-ranked, is now fifth with 186 points and one first-place vote.
Illinois Wesleyan's Titans have secured victories in two consecutive tournaments this fall season. They led at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Preview on September 26 and at the Jim Butts Classic on September 30. Team members Raj Sethi, Jackson Hulsey, and Bobby Beaubien have all been recognized as CCIW Golfer of the Week during this season.
The team's fall schedule continues with participation in the Golfweek Invitational in Sandestin, Florida from October 15-17.
