Illinois Wesleyan University junior men's golfers Griffin Pohl and Quinn Clifford have been recognized as the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Co-Golfers of the Week. The announcement was made on Wednesday, April 10. This marks Pohl's first time receiving the weekly honor, while Clifford has now earned it for the third time.

This season, Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU) has received six weekly awards. The recipients include Pohl, Clifford, Raj Sethi, Jackson Hulsey, and Bobby Beaubien.

Pohl and Clifford played a significant role in leading Illinois Wesleyan to victory at its home tournament on April 6. The team won by a 24-stroke margin against 37 other teams. Both golfers tied for second place individually, finishing just one stroke away from medalist honors. Pohl achieved a one-under 70 at Weibring Golf Club on the second day after shooting a 71 at Ironwood the previous day. Clifford scored a 70 at Ironwood before achieving an even-par 71 at Weibring.

The Titans are scheduled to compete next at the Cochran Collegiate hosted by Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, from April 15-16.
