The Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team is currently leading the Take Back the Challenge tournament, hosted by Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. After 18 holes, the team holds a two-stroke advantage with a score of one-under 287 on the par-72, 7174-yard Red Tail Run Black Course.
Bobby Beaubien and Juney Bai are tied for third place individually after both shot rounds of one-under 71. Beaubien achieved six birdies during his round, while Bai made three birdies and an eagle on the seventh hole.
Other notable performances from Illinois Wesleyan include Griffin Pohl, who is tied for eighth at even par. Quinn Clifford and Tyler Irwin both posted scores of one-over 73, tying them for tenth place.
The tournament features a total of 17 teams. Parkland College is currently in second place with a score of one over (289), followed by Carthage at 292. Nebraska Wesleyan and North Park complete the top five with scores of 296 and 299 respectively. The 'B' team from Illinois Wesleyan is tied for seventh with a score of 305.
Individually, Marcos Park from Parkland and Harrison Weddell from Nebraska Wesleyan are leading with scores of three-under, each shooting a round of 69.
