Junior Griffin Pohl and sophomore Michael Spitzer led the Illinois Wesleyan University men's golf team to an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Division III National Championship in Boulder Creek, Nevada. The event concluded on May 17, with the Titans achieving their eighth top-10 finish in program history.

Pohl finished strong with a five-under 67, tying for third place. This marked the highest finish by a Titan since Dex Reese in 2012. Pohl's four-day total of 280 was the best score for Illinois Wesleyan at this championship, earning him All-American honors.

Spitzer also earned All-American status by tying for eighth place in his national championship debut. He completed his final round with a three-under 69, totaling 283 over four days.

Fifth-year player Bobby Beaubien tied for 71st place, while sophomore Juney Bai shared 73rd position. Junior Quinn Clifford rounded out the team by tying for 77th.

The Methodist team won the overall title with a score of 1131, narrowly defeating Carnegie Mellon by one stroke. Oglethorpe's Michael O'Sullivan received medalist honors with a score of twelve-under-par at 276.
