State Representative Dennis Tipsword (il) | Representative Dennis Tipsword, Jr. (R) 105th District
The Illinois Conservation Foundation has introduced the Illinois Outdoor Excellence Awards to acknowledge individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to conservation and outdoor recreation throughout the state. The awards are divided into four categories.
The "Outdoor Writer/Author of the Year" award aims to recognize exceptional writing that highlights the beauty and importance of Illinois' natural landscapes and resources. Another category, "Outdoor Volunteer Organization of the Year," honors organizations whose volunteer work has led to measurable impacts through conservation and restoration projects statewide.
In addition, the "Outdoor Business/Business Owner of the Year" award celebrates businesses demonstrating leadership in promoting conservation and outdoor initiatives within their communities. Lastly, the "Outdoor Influencer of the Year" category acknowledges digital content creators who engage the public in outdoor activities and environmental stewardship via social media and online platforms.
